Current Idol: Lloyd Dobbler
He's not a guy, he's a man.
I'm totally trying that boombox over my head thing now.
Well, it's 4:30am and I'm now watching High Fidelity, again. Can't get enough of Rob Gordon. At this stage of the night there's very little that cola, cloves and ice cream can do to slow the gentle decay of consciousness under the firm but patient hand of slumber. However I'm now one hour from daylight and it will soon get hot again. So I may not even sleep or another 17-20 hours. WHEEEEEEW! AWRIGHT! ALL-NIGHTER DUDE! HAHAAAAAAAAAAA! PARTY ON! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEW!
Yikes. Sorry. Still on a laptop and still hating it. Oh well, I do what I must.
In response to an anonymous comment on my previous post presuming that I smoke pole and bite pillows due to my claim that John Cusack was, quote, "so charming", end quote, I say this. I'm not gay. Ladies, you can relax, I'm still batting for the right team so you don't have to tear down those Tiger Beat posters of me that you have hanging over your bed. There's still a chance. If you play your cards right.
Vanity aside, what's wrong with a guy having a non-sexual crush on an entertainer? I mean men all over adore rock stars and you know most of them wouldn't turn down a back-stage one on one romp in the leather chaps with the rock god of their choice. So I happen to like John Cusack. I'm not saying I'd like to play with his "Cusack" if you know what I mean. I just think he's done good movies and I dig him.
Anyway, I'm not going to sit here and try to defend my straightitude on my own blog, it's really a non-issue, I just think it's funny to lambast people about things they say in confidence under the shroud of secrecy. Isn't the internet fun?
Anyway, more important things. The FriGG!! has issued, or will issue, a challenge unto me to produce a list of the top 50 bands that have in some way influenced or directed my taste in music. He'll be deriving a list of his own, so let the best musical elitist bastard win. Though we have no criterion for judging said lists and will doubtfully construct them. He's also creating some sort of wonderful "year's best/worst/something" type of conflagration involving the entertainment industry. Coming soon, only on The FriGG!!
Ah, the first delicate tones of blue dawn washing out the cold night. Shine on pure morning, shine on.
God damn I need sleep.
