Just read a journal entry from my brother. It amazes me some times how alike family can be. Different members with different lives can have very similar experiences in life. One of the ideas presented in the discussion mentioned in Blog 16 was the theory that if memory is energy, and energy is a form of matter, and matter is basically passed through genetics, then can memories be passed on, too? More directly, can thought and personality be transmitted via genetics as well? It makes me think; my mother went through the same thing I went through with my ex, and my brother followed the pattern as well. We're all very similar personality wise and it's intriguing to think that there's some genetic tie that connects our emotions. Hm. Well, enough babble. I need sleep. Till next time. Love you, Alex.

Fascinating. My brother is very little like me in most respects. There is definitely similarities, but they seem mostly to be environmental rather than genetic.
I lived in Lakeview in 1989. My (now thankfully) ex husband's family still live there. I was able to get out after 9 months.
God Help You.
Toni Morrison wrote a fascinating novel involving the idea of memories being passed on. She calls them "Rememories". They are portrayed as ghosts in the novel "Beloved". The ghosts are meant to represent slavery.
